Ayer fue feriado en Reino Unido y pasé el día en Richmond Park. Ciervos, vacas, caballos, conejos, cisnes, higos, hongos, moras y robles cargados de bellotas... todos ellos hicieron su parte para hacerme sentir que tuve un poco de vida real ayer.

It was Bank Holiday yesterday in the UK and I spent the day in Richmond Park. Deer, cows, horses, rabbits, swans, figs, fungus, blackberries, oak trees full of acorns... they all did their bit to make me feel I had a bit of real life yesterday.  



The freak show of Sweet Bestiary

He sido muy ingenua. Desde que empecé a sentir el peso de la acumulación de ideas que tengo, pensé que darle cuerpo a algunas me desagotaría la cabeza. Falso. Más cosas hago, más proyectos aparecen. Nunca termina. Tengo que volverme zen o algo (y pronto).
Así que terminé con un puñado de nuevas y diversas criaturas, que estarán en mi tienda hoy:

I’ve been too naive. Since I started to feel the weight of the thousands of ideas I always have, I thought that fleshing out some of them would drain my head. False. The more I make the more projects attacked me. It’s neverending. I ought to become zen or something (and very soon).
So I ended up with a bunch of new and diverse creatures, that will land in my shop today:

Las palabras se me hacen mezquinas para describir cuán emotivo, sensible, mágico y humano (en el buen sentido) fue. Y, por momentos, confieso que no podía evitar pensar “guau, es la hija de Carlitos Chaplín…!”

But by far, the best thing I’ve done recently was going to see the Cirque Invisible:
Words seem quite miserable to describe how touching, sensitive, magical and human (in a good way) it was. And, at times, I confess I couldn’t help but thinking “wow, she is Charlie Chaplin’s daughter…!”.
