I always think it is when the eyes go in - when I make a needle felt animal, I put black headed pins in as soon as I can, to give me an idea of what it will look like in the end. As soon as the pins are in, the whole creature starts to 'live'.
I'm a handful of “ex”s (archivist, teacher, journalist) and a big “currently”: maker of sweet beasts. Born in Argentina into a rather Italian family, now living in London for reasons of love.

If you gave a class to paint them...I would take it.
I love your creations...looking forward to who this one will become.
